Father - Son Camp out and girl time.....

Dave took Austin and Andrew on the Father/ Son camp out and they had fun! They took the Cheap Jeep and of course G-pa got no sleep, he even took a pillow this year.... them old bones.... the boys liked building the fire the best, heck they can do that on our back property. We are building a pit this week-end, I think I heard g-pa tell Austin that... anyway the girls got some Mexican food and came back so April could sit and hold her new niece, Harper...which she did till about midnight. Autumn wanted to go to bed .... with her family. Alaina and Jayden and Atticus had sooo much fun hanging out and seeing how many game pieces are in g-mas game cabinet(too many to count).
Saturday was fun, Alli came and everyone rode motorcycles and we had the junk food the kids want, pizza etc. and rootbeer floats. yummy. Sunday we all went to church had chicken and wild rice g-ma made and then by 5 pm the house was very, very quite....thank-you for coming to visit g-ma and g-pa...we love you all....
the pictures are of Alli new hair cut, Andrew all decked out for riding, Alaina scratching G-pa's head, and a great tickle fight where April lost to her kids...

Wild Week-end and then some....

Yes, it was a wild week-end. Dave and I took Austin and Jayden after school Thursday on up to South Jordan where we stayed in a motel that was not that great an experience so we checked out of there and got a nice Marriott room for the senior rates(not bad)... the kids liked the indoor swimming pool. Anyway we went to Orem and attended Gordon's funeral and it was very nice. I am glad we went. We took the kids to Salt Lake and did the quick tour around the state capital building and the Temple area and Dave hiked down this valley with the two kids. I took lots of pictures. Saturday we went to Kylie and Matthew's soccer game and then did their Birthday Party. It was great fun helping. Saturday night very late, I got some fun phone calls so we drove home on Sunday so we could help everyone out. Autumn had a beautiful baby girl, Harper Janae. 7 pounds 15 ounces and 21 inches...she is sweet... Monday I had fun with Atticus and moving Amber and her children to a new place... tired... and Tuesday I took Atticus so we could take pictures of his mom,dad and Harper get out of the hospital. Then Wednesday we got to take Harper to get blood work for her jaundice... so now I sit at my computer because next week is my Cub Pack Meeting and I do not want to let my Cub Pack down. We are going to have a great time... Out door games you will not see at the Olympics...and a great flag ceremony for Memorial Day and dessert is in honor of Cinco De Mayo; Desert Burritos(yummy). Hope you enjoy all the pictures. It is always an adventure...
