Alli is not a teenager anymore...Big 20!

We felt honored that Alli wanted to celebrate her 20th B-day with family. She also did not want to go out to dinner she wanted mom to make her wild rice stuffed Cornish game hen with grandma home made noodles too. It was a good night. We had fun and the "kids" all played the fun rock band game in the basement, all night. Amber,Austin,Jayden,Keith, Autumn, Atticus, Dave, Me, Alli and her friend,Chris ate way too much and then we had a surprise I made Alli chocolate dipped strawberries(yummy) and a cake too. Of course Dave could not resist: Alli came to our house to find Balloons attached to a walker because not being a teenager anymore she was saying how old she is, well it's all down hill when you turn TWENTY, ya' know!Happy Birthday Allison!

Thursday - Cub Scout Blue and Gold Dinner

What a week.... Thursday was our Blue and Gold dinner...the only blue and gold were the cub uniforms...we did the Chinese New Year theme.Everything was red and gold, and the boys learned about China. It was great fun...the boys made cakes(alot of mom help as you can see) We had a chop stick relays and so much food. All the Cubs got special Confucius Says fortune cookies from the Cub Master(me). It was a very nice night and everyone helped clean up and next month is Abracadabra and if there are any magicians out there give me a call.

Easter Week-end!

So we had some great plans and somehow they all got changed when Angela got sick...real sick.... so we made the best of not having everyone come( we were suppose to have all 5 girls and families and do a cool baby shower for Autumn) but this is what we did. Austin and Jayden came Friday and stayed the whole week-end, which was fun. Atticus came and joined them and we made colored Easter eggs... they were tie dyed. way cool....of course it would not be a visit without someone riding a motorcycle. Austin loved riding by himself... Jayden trust g-pa... Austin and Dave went to the Easter Car Show which is tradition at Hurricane High... Jayden and I went and did a good service for Elijah's family then we all went to see the movie Horton Hears a Who" it was cute. We stayed up late watching the Bee Movie in my basement and then went to church Sunday morning and I made yummy yummy food(oh the Easter Bunny managed to come to G-ma's house) Amber, came and Alli and Autumn, Keith, Atticus, Austin, Jayden, Dave and me. Ham with honey, brown sugar, funeral potatoes, asparagus, yams, baked beans, salad, rolls. It was good. Then everyone went home, Alli stayed awhile and slept. It was all good but I missed having all my kids and g-kids.... soon....soon
Don't forget this Friday is Alli's B-day...her report time to boot camp is June 15th go Air Force!!!

Quick Trip up North...one night in Herriman...

Yes, when I returned home from Vegas I had the fun of driving up to Centerville to pick up a couple more toys for Dave...two more motorcycles and another trailer... the best part was I got to visit with Kylie and Matthew, oh and their parents too... I did teach Matthew the "Beaver Song" so you can see he really got into the song, I don't know if Angela liked me teaching him the faces. It was fun but I had to get home... the snow was a coming to fast... I made it home safe and sound...

Austin's Piano Recital

I just had to add the pictures from Austin's 2nd Piano Recital. Good job Austin... he is soooo cute! The man in the picture is his Piano Teacher.

Visiting Vegas....

Hey Everybody... I know it has been awhile. G-ma has been traveling... I had so much fun staying with the g-kids in Vegas while the parents went on a short vacation... New Orleans... I even took some fun pictures of the kids learning the right way to clean a bathroom....I even made them a fun Toilet Patrol cleaning kit... We did go out to Red Lobster to dinner and we went and saw the movie, Penelope which was really good. We did make some cute lady bugs out of clay pots and Alli even joined us for a fun family night on how Friends rub off on us that ended with a yummy Orange Julius. It is always fun to go stay with the g-kids...
