A look back at March....

Amber decided to go on a mountain bike ride with Austin and Dave......
This is at Aubreana's surprise relative party...Alli, April, Harper and Autumn.....fun
Aubreana was really surprised and we made her wear the St. Patrick's day headband...after all her B-day is March 17th....We went to her school to pick her up and she did not know we drove over from Utah... what a fun surprise!!!!
Austin and Aubreana make a sandwich out of little Harper, I don't think she liked it much!
April made a real yummy cake...make a good wish! Does that wish involve the 1st dance at church on Saturday night...she is 14 now!!!
This was Austin on his first mountain bike ride up in no man's land.....he loved it!
These are our visitor's from New Zealand... Tash, Arama and their son, Tyrone...so much fun, and I loved listening to them all talk, especially Tyrone calling me "Auntie"!
Allison and Buddy came to help Keith and Autumn with their move to Las Vegas! Harper could not figure out where she was....
This is the front of Autumn and Keith's new place in N. Vegas...it was a long, hard day and it was so sad when we had to go home and leave Atticus and Harper, and keith and Autumn too!!!!

So in March we had a move, visitors from New Zealand, a Birthday surprise party,I did a quick road trip to California alone, a couple of great mountain bike rides, Amy,Bob and their 2 daughters visited also, and Allison turned 21 at the end of the month....way to much fun..

Jayden's Birthday-Valentine's

We had Jayden's Birthday dinner at our house and she wanted enchiladas, Spanish rice, beans, salad and of course chocolate cake....
Dave and I have shared many, many Valentine's Days together... like 42.... wow! It is still nice...
I made all the G-kids heart pillows. I even took pictures. Dave and I are having some G-kids here for Valentines so I made him a special dinner on Friday the 13th...I made Lobster tails, asparagus, big baked potatoes, cut up fresh fruit and finally white chocolate dipped strawberries for desert. Look at pictures....April are you proud of me...

Remebering my mom

I did not write in my blog for a long time.... My mom died on January 1st, 2009. She had broken her hip a while ago and never recovered from the complications, her hip healed but she was in so much pain. We had a nice service for her in Orange, Ca. I had the privilege of being able to do my mom's hair, nails and dress her. It was very special to me. Dave conducted and April gave the opening prayer, I gave the eulogy and did a way cool picture board and each person went home with a nice 4x6 picture of mom in her Navy uniform from WW2. Dave dedicated the grave and Jefferey did the throwing of the dirt, plus Susan sprinkled the Holy Water so mom was sent off by all. It is hard to believe that Dave and I have no living parents now. Dad died when he was just 60, so mom was a young widow in her 50's. Now they can dance...

This was Aubreana's table display with her pictures and things she has done.
The first night I was there, Tuesday. I got to take Alaina to her soccer practice and it was cold but so much fun to watch her run the ball. Good job....
I want to thank the kids for how great they are to me and how special they make me feel. Also on the last night, Saturday night I had the funniest time taking them to their very first drive-in movie. They were so excited and I can hardly wait till we can do it again. We will be better prepared. Thanks Andrew, Aubreana and Alaina. I love you guys.
