Father - Son Camp out and girl time.....

Dave took Austin and Andrew on the Father/ Son camp out and they had fun! They took the Cheap Jeep and of course G-pa got no sleep, he even took a pillow this year.... them old bones.... the boys liked building the fire the best, heck they can do that on our back property. We are building a pit this week-end, I think I heard g-pa tell Austin that... anyway the girls got some Mexican food and came back so April could sit and hold her new niece, Harper...which she did till about midnight. Autumn wanted to go to bed .... with her family. Alaina and Jayden and Atticus had sooo much fun hanging out and seeing how many game pieces are in g-mas game cabinet(too many to count).
Saturday was fun, Alli came and everyone rode motorcycles and we had the junk food the kids want, pizza etc. and rootbeer floats. yummy. Sunday we all went to church had chicken and wild rice g-ma made and then by 5 pm the house was very, very quite....thank-you for coming to visit g-ma and g-pa...we love you all....
the pictures are of Alli new hair cut, Andrew all decked out for riding, Alaina scratching G-pa's head, and a great tickle fight where April lost to her kids...

Wild Week-end and then some....

Yes, it was a wild week-end. Dave and I took Austin and Jayden after school Thursday on up to South Jordan where we stayed in a motel that was not that great an experience so we checked out of there and got a nice Marriott room for the senior rates(not bad)... the kids liked the indoor swimming pool. Anyway we went to Orem and attended Gordon's funeral and it was very nice. I am glad we went. We took the kids to Salt Lake and did the quick tour around the state capital building and the Temple area and Dave hiked down this valley with the two kids. I took lots of pictures. Saturday we went to Kylie and Matthew's soccer game and then did their Birthday Party. It was great fun helping. Saturday night very late, I got some fun phone calls so we drove home on Sunday so we could help everyone out. Autumn had a beautiful baby girl, Harper Janae. 7 pounds 15 ounces and 21 inches...she is sweet... Monday I had fun with Atticus and moving Amber and her children to a new place... tired... and Tuesday I took Atticus so we could take pictures of his mom,dad and Harper get out of the hospital. Then Wednesday we got to take Harper to get blood work for her jaundice... so now I sit at my computer because next week is my Cub Pack Meeting and I do not want to let my Cub Pack down. We are going to have a great time... Out door games you will not see at the Olympics...and a great flag ceremony for Memorial Day and dessert is in honor of Cinco De Mayo; Desert Burritos(yummy). Hope you enjoy all the pictures. It is always an adventure...

ohhh Springtime...Planting time....

I love this time of year.... The Peach grove is green and alive. The grapes are coming on... Bella loves the extra attention since we are outside more. She loves walking out in the grove with Dave. All my little seedlings I started inside are in the ground, except when we come home from the funeral and the Birthdays up north then I get to plant the grow boxes in the green house. Fun.... Oh the best part is when I come home, then on Monday our 11th grandchild is going to be born...we are really excited for Rory Janae to be born on Cinco De Mayo. So have a good day everyone... I will post pictures again soon.

Wild Amber Birthday!

What a fun time we had! First we had a big Fiesta meal...Amber wanted me to make her favorite.... I made chicken enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, chicken fajitas, beans, spanish rice, fresh cut up fruit and salad and of course guacamole....yummy and to end we had chocolate silk pie and turtle pie...
Then we all went out and played ....Austin loves lifting his mom up.... Amber Jayden and Alli on one motorcycle could be trouble. Keith has decided he loves riding now. Atticus likes riding around our property with his dad. So we all had alot of fun......next is my sister, Kathy's B-day but she lives in California and then we have Kylie and Matthew's Party and the best Rory is being born on May 5th..... way cool.....

Friday Night Baptism

We have the nicest neighbors, The Cox Family, and Friday night we got to help with Dowanna's dad's baptism and it was so neat. Wouldn't it be nice to be in your 70s and have all your sins washed away! Well Don was baptized and he is so happy. His 5 grand daughters sang and it was so sweet. We had a little party after for him. The pictures are of their family only one son-in-law missing and then a picture of Dowanna and Larin with Don in the middle and the last picture is of the five girls with grandpa. Dave was able to teach Don the missionary discussions with the missionaries and I was able to lead the music and do the program. Way cool!

Birthday Week-end...and a baby shower too!

Wow! My Birthday was very nice. Dave made me breakfast then he had given me flowers and healthy snacks. He also put a Happy Birthday banner on my car and in the kitchen too. Then we had to work all day. But Friday night was so much fun... all five of my daughters and all the grandchildren plus John and Keith all met up at The Golden Corral for dinner. It was fun and they even sang to me. It was great and then we came and played games at our house. Saturday we did a small baby shower for Autumn and it was yummy delicious food made by Angela. Then we played the rest of Saturday with the kids outdoors and later indoors. Keith had fun with John and they recruited Angela to sing for their rock band. Sunday was conference(for those who watched) and then a big Oven beef roast with 4 pounds of carrots and 8 pounds of potatoes. Everyone enjoyed it. It was Alaina's 8th Birthday so we made a cake and sang to her. Then everyone packed it up and went home leaving G-Pa and G-ma tired.....but it is the best when we get everyone here at once....thank-you everyone because that is what I wanted for this Birthday, all of you together, but we still need to get that picture.....

Sunday March 31,2008

So on Sunday Jayden is very happy girl because G-ma bought her a new dress to wear to church. Austin looked way cool in his blue shirt too. Anyway after church we make a quick meal of home made tostados. yummy...then we go for a drive to see the new road out to Sand Hollow State Park. wow! it has changed out that way. Anyway- we stopped by some community they are building and find a way cool waterfall(man made) so I am taking pictures of the kids and the security guy comes and tells me they can not be on the rocks. So then we went around by Sand Hollows back side and the kids can not resist a picture climbing up the side on the side of the road. They had fun and we enjoyed spending time with them too! I am getting excited for this week-end. You all come for Autumn's Party and to my party too!!!!!!
